copy protection scheme is documentation based

to remove the copy protection run bat file nodoc

   - the bat file will copy your start.exe program
     to oldstart.exe  - this is for your protection
     as your version may differ from mine


   - the bat file invokes debug to modify start

   - use abrams  to run from your hard disk


note - if you wish to manually apply the patch

   - the offsets in start.dbg are 100 hex bytes greater
     than the file offsets

     do to the fact that debug loads everything as a com file
